They do have anti-pinch. (At least the 2009 I have does)
Pro-tip....if you want to clean them while washing the rest of the truck.
1) Open door (step drops)
2) Close door
3) Before step lifts, put your foot on it to keep it forced down
4) Wash, etc.
5) Open/Close door to return to normal

put some cardboard teeth on them and body of vehical.. And some big googly eyes above them.
