You can always go to gmpartsdirect and inquire with them about a specific filter going by your vin to see if there really is a difference.

Dry vs Lubed has been beaten to death, its all personal preference is what it comes down to.
That's why I said "some people prefer dry, others prefer lubricated" Don't take this out of content, this is a family friendly forum ;)

Yes, I use them religiously for all my parts and part number needs.
Then I'll google the part number and find the best price :)
