PPV steelies - where did they all go?

weird. I was not finding anything available and then last night I found 2 different sets without center caps, and then this morning another set popped up WITH the center caps and I snagged them for $250. Now I need lug nuts...

There are spacers, about 1/4”, between the caps and the wheel.

Ahhh. i remember those on my old PPV wheels. They should already be on the new ones. Just ordered a set of Lug nuts and have an appointment at Discount Tire for the swap out on Tuesday

Factory spacers?

They're used with thes6caps. Spacer goes on the retaining bolt, then it goes between center cap and rim. It's held in place by a small rubber O ring.

You can buy black replacements from dorman.

Exactly what I did, I got them through RockAuto. People think they are actually worth something, which is f'ing comical. It's the same as the painted silver and chrome versions, just in gloss black. I bought brand new Dormans so I didn't have to worry about a used one being bent, and I got them for nearly the same price I saw some used PPV wheels on CL and FB.

I was about to order the ones from RockAuto before I found these, but they seem to no longer have black ones, only grey.

Local salvage yard just posted a PPV with a complete set of steelies and center caps 2 days ago. Messaged them just for kicks and they are already gone.
