so ive been driving my tahoe for about a month now and the previous owner (my wifes grandfather) said he put rotors on it about 2 months before i got the truck....but when you push the brakes the whole truck jumps n shakes like its gonna fall apart, like the rotors need to be turned....could it be the new ones need turned or am i looking at something more than this...also every now and again the brake light will pop on but it never stays oin constantly...thanks for the help in advance

My 2003 Trailblazer did the same thing. I replaced the pads on all 4 corners and didn't turn the rotors and the car started to pulsate or jump forward when I pushed the brakes. So, I had the rotors turned and problem solved.

Could also be warped rotors which if he got cheap rotors they'll warp very easy!!

Brakes are the most important part of any vehicle and failure of the system may lead to a major problem and do needs to be taken care of on the basic part itself before it turns out into a pretty big issue. So do take care and get it diagnosed as soon as possible.
