Whenever I turn my heated seats on for my driver side, they turn right back off after about a second. I've had no problems with my passenger side. Any ideas what could be the problem? Maybe a bad relay?

I have the same problem and I hate it, I've googled and and read a few different things. One thing was the actually heater in the seat is bad, another was a fuse or switch under the driver seat is bad I don't remeber exactly but along those lines. I hope someone chimes in with an easy fix

I've heard that from dealerships it's around 150.00. GMpartsdirect.com has them for around 80.00 with shipping close to 100.00. Or you could go the ebay route and get them for 50.00-60.00.

Mine had the same problem. You basically have a short in the metal element in the heated seat pad. thats what causes the short and makes the seat heater turn itself off.
You have to take the bottom seat cushion off, unplug the pad (Green connector down the back of the seat) and remove an replace.
I bought mine online for $74.00
Be careful because if you go to a dealership they will charge you $400

It's very easy to replace

Good luck
