When I first installed the Airaid tube, it kept coming loose at the tb. I didn't throw codes, but that might be your issue. I just cranked the clamp and prob solved. I still check it now and then though just in case.

The only reason I mention the MAF sensor specifically, is because he's having transmission issues. When I pulled the TB off of my NBS Yukon to clean it and do the coolant bypass mod, I forgot to plug the MAF sensor back in. As a result, the PCM freaked out because it wasn't able to meter any incoming air, and it maxed the trans line pressure out as a "safe mode" of sorts.

I'll bet a five spot that he didn't clip the MAF sensor plug in all the way, and it came loose under acceleration. ;)

Dammit, y'awl! I thought I was among 'friends' here! I have spent the past several days fascinating myself with my own mislogic before I even attempted to apply it to y'awl. But did you work with me? Noooooooo..... y'awl had to come along with your common sense and steer me toward a logical solution. It's a conspiracy! It has to be! ROFL!

All joking aside, I feel a bit embarrassed. I still have issues with the instructions that came with the device, but Justin has indicated that he has worked some bugs out already, and continues to work toward that goal. Rather than keep that bit of frustration aside and concentrate on a logical solution, I just assumed.... and we all know what happens when we assume..... With this same mislogic, I had succeeded in convincing myself that the Auto Cal was also responsible for the **** war crimes, the Great Depression, and more importantly, the election and reelection of our current Thief in Chief, the latest squatter in the White House.

I had read here that some have had issues with the rubber coupler coming loose from the throttle body itself. I have been watching that closely. Never saw a problem. The TPS is also secure, but thanks for the advice. Turns out, the tube itself had slipped out of the other end of the rubber coupling at the throttle body. I reconnected it, torqued down on all the clamps, and gave it all a more thorough inspection.

I will do another data log, and send it in.

I thank you all sincerely for the advice, and apologize for a relapse of cranial-****** insertion syndrome on my part. Hopefully this thread will help some folks with similar issues in the future.

Full steam ahead.

You might be onto something with the war crimes thing, I just re-watched schindler's list tonight and I'm CERTAIN I saw an AutoCal in the background somewhere....

:D

All jokes aside, glad you got it sorted out. Now go finish tuning it and go have some fun. ;)
