Well i have been all under the hood and dash on my 04, and what gave it away initially was i was troubleshooting the heated seat switch driver side. Had the window/lock switch pulled out of the door and in my hand when I pressed a combo of buttons. Damn thing started. Once I got my new standard key fobs, the ones with unlock, lock, and panic buttons, I tried just tapping the lick twice she fired up. Why I say factory is the original factory versions cut the engine off doing different things, stepping on brake opening the hood. Not sure the after markets did that or not.
