Projector Halogens convert to HID or LED?

Hi, I bought my first Tahoe in August. A 2015 LT with 175,000 miles. It’s a Florida truck with no rust. Absolutely love it!!

I wanted to upgrade the stock halogen projectors because they are horrible at night. I purchased an HID conversion kit from headlightexperts.com on a whim but now I’m wondering if LED would have been a better choice. Any recommendations? The kit came with 35W 5000K bulbs with cancellers/capacitors and power relay harness / anti flicker (everything pictured). I haven’t installed them yet.

Work I’ve done/caused so far:
-hi-pressure fuel injection flush
-woolwaxed undercarriage
-1 step polish and 3 year ceramic coat
-replaced driver seat bottom foam and cover
-rear defroster tab lol
-it came with black Asanti 24s and 305/35/24 tires (pictured)
-I bought black Escalade replica 22s wrapped with A/T TBB Tires (285/45/22) for winter driving in NY
-Alignment
-Escalade tail lights

LED were better than stock on my burb, but I really didn't like my lighting until I added a fog kit that uses H8/11 bulbs - which I also added LEDs to. Even on my Denali with HID, I have to use my fogs to see worth a damn...

Hey Jay, did you ever switch to LED. My experience with them in the projector housing was very poor. I would like to find a headlight
assy that will fit the Tahoe without them. My truck is just like yours, but I have chrome wheels, 22".
Are you experiencing any shutter from the transmission. I am when accelerating, especially if it is a hard accel. I am going to install
a trans cooler bypass that will allow the system to operate all the time. My temps go up to the 190 range all the time. Will also change
the filter and fluid, which will be a chore.
