Well he said it didn't start after sitting for 2 years so changed out the fuel pump....then it started.
Like TT stated, take a look at the injectors and fuel pressure regulator. Personally I would change them all out and drop new ones in and do the ultimate TBI mods to the throttle body. You can also install and adjustable fuel pressure regulator along with a gauge. The TBI engines run best when at 13psi...from the factory they could be anywhere from 9-13psi.
