Pros - it will disable AFM. Con - why not spend just a little more for either a handheld tuner, which will gain more performance, or a blackbear tune. Both of the options will disable AFM anyway.

Another quick question. With the engine having over 130,000, would there be any risk to doing a tune now?

No. Just take a little more caution because you wont want to rag on it as hard as you would one with fewer miles.

Or the dod delete. Even with it disabled you still have the afm lifters and that is the real problem

Nope. I supercharged at 115k with nothing wrong. doubtful bypassing the Afm will do any harm. If anything it be more helpful. Like less likely to consume oil

This question just came up a few weeks ago. Same answers by some of the same guys who have already posted above. Check it out as well doing your research. My post is there in regards to the Range AFM and BB Tune as I have both on separate vehicles. 06 Tahoe and 13 Suburban. @Kenny D
