My puddle lights under the mirrors keep falling out. The tab to hold them in seems to be loose or something. I need a solution that's better then glueing them in since I would like to be able to still access the bulbs.
Any Ideas? Anyone else have this prob?

I assume you are talking about the clear cover or is it the actual bulb?

I haven't taken mine off but I'm assuming that there are plastic tabs on the cover that lock into the mirror cap, right?

if its like other puddle lamps (ours doesnt have them so i cant look) i assume its got a "springy" plastic tab that snaps into place? take it out, GENTLY and carefully heat it up and bend the tab back out some so it will be a tighter fit again and when it cools, put it back in. i'd heat it up with a lighter being very careful but thats just me. dont heat the whole lense just the part where you want it to bend. that should restore its fit. hopefully.

you can also put a piece of rubber in the tab to make it spread farther for more bite. Just be careful not to break it.

This happened to me after I replaced the OEM 39mms with LED 39mms. Anywyas, the tab broke. So I plastic epoxied the tab with a THICK piece of double sided sticky tape in between the tab and the assembly. Try it.
