The puddle lights on the mirrors on my 03 Yukon SLT have only came on once. I just got the truck and im wondering how and when they come on. Ive turned on parking lights, headlights, and have yet to see them again. Im looking to put some LED's in them.

Thanks for any info.

Um, maybe you need to park next to more puddles. As the name indicates, they are for showing you puddles.

Actually, iirc, those lights come on when you use the remote to unlock the door. They have no correlation with the headlights and parking lights.

It depends on how long your perimeter lights are set to stay on.

Do your reverse lights stay on after you turn off the truck when it's dark?

Disregard my reverse light comment. Confusing my 07 and my 04.

I have a Viper alarm so when I disarm it just flashes the parking lights. I turned the key on (in the dark) and after I turned the key off the parking lights, puddle lights, and headlights came on for 60 seconds. That it what I have It set on in the DIC menu.

Hope this helps.

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? Sometimes depending how they were wired the lights can do different things.
