I'm replacing my transmission, at the same time adding new 6an transmission cooler lines and a 40k aux cooler.
I was removing fittings from the rad (removed clip, pulled line no issue, but once I removed the fitting on the rad... coolant poured out... is this normal? Is there radiator fluid up to the seal typically?

If someone knows, please let me know.... (of course it is the fitting in the worst spot). TIA

You might have just cracked the internal cooler for the transmission inside the radiator. There should be zero antifreeze in your transmission lines. I would check your transmission for any coolant mixed. If it looks funny flush the transmission immediately , don't drive it like that or your transmission will be destroyed. Also you probably need a radiator. When i upgraded my transmission cooler i bypassed the radiator just for this purpose. I think it happened though when you pulled the line. Removal of that line should not let coolant out.

My transmission's cooler is in the rad seals with the fittings for the trans lines. Once both fittings came out, the o-rings lost their seal. I will reassemble it and see if it holds the coolant in. The trans fluid is separated from the coolant; it is only coolant to the world separated by the o-rings.
