I was so excited to complete my first pad and rotor change on my 03 Yukon XL that I neglected to pump the brakes until after I started up the car. The "Service Brake System" light came on for a second or two, then turned off as I pumped the brakes. I pumped them about three times, holding them down after the third pump. I then took it for a low speed drive around the block, applying the brakes periodically. I really didn't notice anything wrong but just wanted to see if something could have gotten screwed up.

Is not, or was not?

Not trying to sound like an ass - but if you did open the bleeder at all you will need to get the air out.. If not - should be all set...

Did you have to push the caliper piston in or did you get the new pads in & rotor in without doing that?
