putting 24s rims

I have a question. i be hearing that adding big rims can damage your car is this true i want 24s on my tahoe but is this true hat can be damage if i put ig rims on my tahoe also looking to put 26s

putting bigger wheels on any car/truck causes stress to the trans. but i know a few people that are on 24s and 26s and they have no problems

The biggest stress is on the hubs which will result in more frequent replacements. Other than that not a big deal
