Ive just bought a new edelmann steering gear for my 1999 GMC Yukon which was the last thing replaced after replacing everything else possible related to my steering. Unfortunately I still have an insanely dangerous amount of play in my steering. The play seems to be above the pitman arm so I want to believe it's a faulty steering gear. I did some reading and it seems I should have bought a "Blue Top" steering gear (about $300) based on customer reviews. I also see a company called "PRW Steering" that sells a new one for $1100. They seem to have appeared around 2020ish and I can't find a single review on any of thier parts.
Has anyone heard of PWR the parts company? Is this potentially a mediocre product with a marked up price tag or is this a case of getting what you pay for?
