The exhaust has been on for about 3 months now and I've had no issues at all (the chrome tip gets very dirty very fast even while on road, but, oh well). Still sounds great and has minimal drone. Only noticeable drone is within 200 revs up/down of 2000, but that has not bothered me nor any passengers of a wide range of ages. I still haven't gotten anyone to do a drive-by while I'm standing outside, so will hopefully get that done at some point. I still roll the window down whenever I drive by a long stretch of building or rock on the right side so I can hear the reflected tones (I'm desperate, alright?)

Thanks again for all of the help guys, and feel free to ask any questions about the system/results.

Edit: Speaking of loud noise getting annoying. Forgot what it is called by now, but I am very, very interested in a system that has a straight pipe and muffler'd path, alternated by a switch on the dash. Muffler for the family, straight pipe for the friends. Anyone have any insight here, or even a price estimate? Might just make a new thread for it. A man can dream!

I had the same issue when I had the Corsa Sport on my wifes Tahoe. I loved the "no drone" but I never knew it would be dead quiet inside the truck. It drove me nuts not to hear it so I put on a louder muffler...as soon as the wife drove it she wanted the Corsa back on it...The Corsa Sport is definitely loud on the outside when you dig in it, but it was frustrating for me when I couldn't hear it inside.

What you are looking for is an electric cutout...that will give you straight pipe when you want it and Corsa Sport when you don't.

Am I right in saying that it is literally a switch that opens/closes a valve to the straight pipe route?

You are correct!

My dad's boat had something similar to this. Back then I thought nothing of it, but now, this is the coolest thing ever in my mind. I assume it has to be custom done. If I already have a full cat-back of Corsa, how much do you think a shop would cost me for parts, installing/cutting, and labor? Or do you know of any build threads with this? Thanks!

As this is getting far too exciting, I went ahead and made another post here that recaps what we've talked about and asks a few more questions. Thank you so much for the help!
