Ya know, after getting this far, I wish I was more tedious with it. Because the chrome is really starting to grow on me. However there are some flaws that will get covered up with paint, so I pretty much have to paint it now lol. The whole thing just got painted black except the shrouds. So the orange reflector and the shrouds will stay, the rest of the housing is now black....

Gotta let the paint cure a while before I peel the tape off. Monday or Tuesday I will put the shrouds on then plop the lens on and be done! I left the tl bowl accessible from the backside so if I need to make any tweaks to it I still can. Going to do some tweaking to the shields at 80-100 ft then call it done.

Thanks for all the complements guys. Alot more work than I was thinking when I first started lol.

I'm contemplating painting the shrouds too. We'll see what it looks like after the paint cures and I can set the shrouds in place.

Going to look good. Kind of what i was going for on mine at first, except opposite, flat black shrouds and chrome behind.

Looking forward to final project. Keep it up

Very nice shawn. Too bad Tahoe lights barely fit mini's.

Look very nice. Think you should ditch the amber while you are in there. Would look super clean with the white.

I thought about that. But then it's just a big empty black spot... And not fond of the clear reflectors...
I like how the reflector flows with the fender line.
