yeah I am not sure I want to go 6" just for the sake if my wife has to drive it. I mean a leveling kit up to 4" maybe max.

You need to keep in mind that installing aftermarket keys and cranking them to get anywhere near 4" of lift is going to kill the ride quality. Bottom line is that for every inch you crank you lose an inch of available downtravel. So coming off a sharp rise the truck will tend to pitch forward.
Tuff Country and Skyjacker have mid-level lifts for these trucks IIRC. To find out more about the lifts, you can go online and download the lift instructions to see what parts it includes and how the lift is achieved.
If you want to wade in slowly, you could the stock keys all the way, then add whatever rear spacer is appropriate, maybe 1" or so. If you are still ok with the ride, then maybe get keys and crank a little more.
