question on MPG before and after AFM delete

I havent dont it, but has anyone who disabled the AFM, notice a big difference in MPG when disabling AFM? city and hwy? Preferably someone with a "heavy foot". Thanks! Truck is 2010 yukon 6.2L, btw.

My mistake, I should've worded it differently. I meant to ask if those who did it notice a significant drop in mpg.

No change on my 2013 tahoe with 5.3....i know not a 6l but, i have my foot in constantly to hear the cai......i have had it installed for about a month and a half and i even took a 3000 mile trip.... no gas mileage change on the DIC at all...

To turn off the afm/dod which will eventually kill these engines...its not for improved gas mileage its to save my motor

Do me a favor and google afm/dod and then come back and talk to me, mr thats a first...Gm's active fuel mgmt is a joke and is proven to kill these engines.

GM's AFM/DOD is well known for lifter failure which causes engine failure. I've already had to replaced my LC9 in my Suburban because of Lifter failure as a result of a flawed design.

I'm going with this setup soon on my current LC9 with the LS9 cam/LS7 Lifter/LS6 spring setup.
