If by "spazz" you mean hyperflash that is incorrect. If the resistors are wired in correctly each bulb is independent of another and doesn't matter if you run LEDs in front and "regular" bulbs in back or vice versa. It is not a requirement to run LEDs all around or reprogram the vehicle.

I was thinking anlong the lines of erratic lighting. Sometimes on and off flashing like a loose contact point or improper seating issue
