What the heck is wrong with you people. The 6.2 sounds beautiful to me. I love the sound and wish my 5.3 sounded like it. Even with a resonator delete it sounds mild.

Having a Esky or Denali is like having a wild ***** and a lady at the same time.

Looks good at parties (parked) and fun in bed (when you step on the gas).

Not so. Started a brand new Esc when I traded in mine on Saturday. Turned it off right away as it sounded like the old Camaro SS I rode around in in high school. Dual was even louder.

Gee, I guess you know what a dual exhaust escalade sounds like better than I do, ya know, because you turned a key.

Now, if another member comes by and happens to be like the two or so in the last two years who's issue is 'oh noes my suv is too loud and junk' then fair enough.

You can take my experience, that of an owner of a Nali 6.2 with res delete, an esky 6.2 with stock single exhaust, esky 6.2 with dual exhaust, a 6.0 Hybrid with and without res, and someone who has driven thousands of miles in 5.3s, or you can take the opinion of someone who's turned a key. Alternatively you can just go and drive them at some length and in various road conditions and figure it out for yourself.

Fact is the 6.2 with stock dual exhaust is pretty much on par volume wise with a stock 5.3, give or take a decibel and octave or two. And it is significantly quieter than a 6.2 with stock single exhaust, never mind res delete.

Camaro SS, sheesh. :manos:
