What length did you get? How tough to install? I am thinking of getting one for my 04 Denali.

I have a valentine one and it has saved my ass a number of times. It paid for itself the first night i had it. Mine is wired into my rear view mirror with an invisicord. Here is the website http://invisicord.com/

You could make one of these yourself but i felt like just buying one, and it had a very quick delievery. The invisicord is very nice to have because it powers on and off with the car, and you have no dangling wires, and can also mount your detector up higher on the windshield. I would definately reccomend getting one if you are a regular speeder!! (not something i am proud of lol)

I have used the passport ****** for a while. Works great on the highway. Couple things. Lots of small towns you go through wont have laser so it wont help you. Also when I am running traffic, my radar stays off until I see you from my hiding spot. Turn it on, nail you, and im good to go! Also never seen a radar detector thing in use by police around here. Also, we usually dont pull over unless 15 over, 10 on slow days. Best thing you can hope for is for your radar to catch me clocking a guy that is in front of you a ways.

I'm guessing your the popo? If so we'll have to have him test things out lol

Puckhead-- since you are a police officer, what do you think about the Valentine 1? My friends all have one and have nothing bad to say about them. Still debating which one to get.

lol yep. Hell yeah though, that would be sweet! See what works and how good. I was thinking of that the other day.

I don't know a thing about Valentine 1. Some swear by em but all I have used is the ******. Never pulled someone over with radar though, if thats worth anything.

A good radar detector and driving smart will keep you out of 99% of tickets. If I had laser and you had a laser jammer, I would probably be too busy looking at the laser gun going WTF to even notice you go by lol

Oh, and if anyone has any future questions about cop stuff just shoot em at me through the boards or PM or whatever and ill answer to the best of my knowledge.
