Hi,I would appreciate any input for this question. My son has a 94 Yukon 2 door with a bad radiator. The lot we bought the car from made us a good deal on a new radiator(perhaps) We waited a week to get it in and now that it has arrived it is different than the original. The old radiator has oil and transmission lines, water inlet spout, water outlet spout, drain spout, overflow spout and another spout that is just below the overflow spout. That one under the overflow spout appears to go to a heater hose to the heater core.
Well the new one doesn't have that one. It is a little larger than the overflow but simply not there on the new one. Do I have a new Regular duty radiator or just a different design? Is there anyway to modifiy the new one i.e. (add a threaded spout or add Tee's to the overflow/heater hose) to make it work? I would rather make this work if possible because it will take another week or so to replace the new radiator through the car lot. Here is a pic of the spout in question. Thanks for any input.

will any local auto parts run the part number for you? That way you can make sure it is for yours. Sounds like it's a generic one, and you wouldn't have oil lines, tranny cooler lines etc, etc.
If the car lot said they would make it right, you need asn OEM replacement, direct bolt in.

Thanks,I will get the parts number. It Has oil/tranny lines. All the lines except the what I ass-u-me is a heater hose line. I added a pic of the radiator like came off for comparion. The new one looks identical to it except for the spout in question, just wondering if there is a way to make the new one work.
Thanks
