Radio today: Truck demand goes south - Any rumors?

As stated earlier I’d like a different truck but they’re still up there in price so I’m guessing demand is high. I’m looking in the $25-30k range and all you can find is high mileage light duty trucks for that money and that seems dumb. As soon as you look HD the prices jump and if you go diesel (real diesel, sorry babymax fans) the prices go insane

went through this last year, was looking to add a 3/4 gasser and a 5yr old 80k-120k mile truck was only $5k-6k less than what we eventually ended up paying for a new one….I can only imagine how that gap has narrowed now.

the only one we thought about looking at was a 2015 Chevy gasser that had 225k on it…for $22k…yeah no

Any news here lately? Heard Carmax said the market dropped a bit. Saw first new Tahoe where the dealers gave either $500 cash credit or $1000 gas credit.
Wondering if that's an exception or going to be the norm down the road
