I did a search on the quicklift here and I only found one post mentioning issues with the ride feeling like it bounces more up and down. My Suburban has a little over 70k miles so instead of installing a CCM kit I was thinking of going with the Rancho setup. Any pro/cons to doing this? I have a local tire shop that does lifts, etc. that is giving me a pretty good price on tires, leveling kit (Rancho QuickLift), rear shocks, and spring spacers in the back. Or should I get new struts and pay the extra for labor to have them replaced?

There are two different kinds of struts that you can get with the rancho quicklift. From experience the ones with the adjustable ride control are the best, especially for these heavier vehicles & also if you intend to tow. The ones without the adjustment knob are prolly the ones that people would complain about the ride or they did not set the adjustable set right to the ride they want. Im looking at getting these as well and will be spending the $$ on the adjustable ones. I was looking at getting new struts and shocks anyways so for $100ish more for front struts I would like to get the ranchos with the added lift instead of adding spacers. Nothing wrong with spacers but its just one more part not to worry about.

I was looking at the adjustable ones actually. My major concern is the ride quality and I agree that if I can adjust it to my liking I should be able to find a setting that feels right. I have a little over 70k miles on my suburban so I figured I'd get all new shocks/struts instead of going with just a leveling kit.

I got them and they made driving my Denali pretty much unbearable. it was awful. That being said, I think they sent me the wrong model because it lifted the front like 4" instead of 2.5". It was weird... They did send me a full refund though, so it wasn't too big of a deal. Give it shot.

I would not install these. I have a set with 5k miles and my Suburban is unbearable to drive. When going over a speed bump at 2mph it feels like I'm jumping over it, and the front end bounces.
