They are flex fuel injectors, with 93. Was hoping they'd flow a little more so I could have a little fun with it, but 50% isnt even a pull and its wayyyy max'd out.

isnt much room up front james intercooler takes up a bit of real estate, thats why i grabbed a remote mount with fans supposed to be rated "37k" whatever that means. im hoping with plumbing in the radiator cooler that will do enough to knock down some of the heat and the fanned cooler will atleast be able to drop temp while cruising. not trying to auto cross the thing but if temp will never come down after giving it to it thats no bueno

and looks like i'll be checking over the wiring harness tomorrow :banghead:
throttle position sensor was a little erratic after i updated tune today, drove fine, but its normal pretty smooth on the logs. tried it engine off and it would jump between 0 and about 20%, checked over the tune, compared to old, figured it was something in the tune - couldnt find anything.
key on engine off, when you press pedal it goes up to 100% but still erratic the whole time, unplugged the throttle body all together and it still bounces from 0-20% probably pinched something

Was wondering about that. I saw a build on tv once where they put the trans cooler under the body and didn't even bother to run it up front. They put a fan on it and a duct to protect it from rocks and vent air to it.

Holy shit, now this is a ******* build thread. Nice work man. Anxious to see once you get those few kinks worked out and larger injectors. Should rip!! I had a 1.32 a/r T6 475 on my dmax, lol

I put a TruCool Max 30k behind the lower opening in the front bumper due to the intercooler needed for the Whipple and it works good. That’s on an 02 though.

I see a lot of diesels do it also with smaller coolers than what I have now so I dont know, I'll keep adding them till it drops temp

The 30k is a few rows less that the 40k right? I have the 40k now and it wont fit there (on the nnbs the opening is blocked off) I cut out to let some more air in that lines up with the bottom of my intercooler tho, big air to air. The 30k may fit there though.

Hoping to have injectors this week, will need to do more in tank pump but should be able to turn it up some. Hoping I'm missing something obvious woth tps issue, unplugged position still spikes, I pulled the pins out of the harness at the pcm to hopefully identify the wiring as problem, still does it!
And it's stupid fast right now, the log of that 50% just sits on the stall, at 4000rpm , and runs thru the gears and wants so much more. I'm real happy with it, the 4.10s may have to come back out if it just rips to redline every gear

all the transmission coolers....all of them

@Rocket Man i went ahead and shoved the 40k in front of the bottom grill opening, screwed off the top to the crash bar, let it angle the bottom back and it sits right up against the intercooler i'll find something to put between them to keep then from rubbing but i can get all the bumper hardware back in it's all ****** if i ever rear end someone though

with all the hardlines out i cut down the shortest 90 i could to use on the top radiator fitting that will still clear the intake elbow, will change it over to -6AN fittings and make a hose for it.
ordered all the fittings and enough hose to hook it all back up. at the transmission the fittings that go onto/into the block are a little "delicate" so i dont really want to undo them and will just take one of the lines off of the derale cooler under truck (leave the other to transmission)

so it's going to leave transmission (top hose at transmission) > to bottom of radiator> top of radiator > to 40k trucool in> 40k out to derale under truck in > out of derale to bottom hose of transmission

the fans on the derale I have ran into the cab in the little pocket next to headlight/dimmer switch. I hopefully wont even need to run the fans that much with all of those coolers but it'll be there if i need to mid summer heavy slow traffic i could need it tho.otherwise it gets barely any air flow with out the fans on

Yeah we’re both screwed if we ever rear end someone. I have my radiator, oil cooler, intercooler and trans cooler there and there would be 4 different fluids squirting everywhere.

There were two versions of the WW2 Essex class carriers, one was referred to as the "long nose" because they were lengthened for anti-aircraft guns. You guys could do the same and market a "long nose" version of your trucks to make extra room and ducting for all the coolers and fans. :D
