This is the return oil line from the turbo? I thought it was a gravity drain, which means you should have it drain into "open air" inside the pan.

I wouldn't doubt your knowledge with this stuff, so I'm sure I'm just misunderstanding something.

nah youre right i explained it weird...it's still way up above where the pan forms a sump. pretty much in line with the front axle, in that area the pan is probably only 2" tall or so (to clear the front axle) but the pickup tube runs right along the side and is about 3/4" so i am at the bottom of that 2" high part

-i made the oil drain work with a straight fitting, probably is a little better - the 45* just allowed some error.
-pulled the trans cooler lines to the radiator out, cut them off and just looped them together so i could start and check for leaks. fully planned on working on leaks the rest of the day but were none (yet!) - all the stuff for, and the new, trans cooler should be here tomorrow
-exhaust is still open, actually hoping its pretty quiet with the 2 mufflers and turbo.
-need to put fenders liners back in but will leave them out for now to check on everything easier.
-havent even touched tune lol, need injectors and finish up wideband crap - sensor is in but it just has a little module to power up

I'm trackin now. I was picturing what would be like a second draining point in the sump.

also found my oil leak that i couldnt figure out.
when i did the cam, i just pulled the timing chain cover (not the pan), i guess the two bolts that go thru the pan into the cover are "wet" they thread into the open timing chain cover. i didnt think to put thread sealant onto them before and i would have streaks of oil on the pan front to back - not much but enough to notice every time i was under.

Tranny cooler turned into mess...block for 6l80 to 6an fittings goes straight out into the front driveshaft, so I need to work with the stock block, I just slid some hose over the ends and halfassed it in there.

Also making some rattling sound from converter/flex plate area in park/neutral dunno, goes away with a light blip of throttle or when put in gear.

Turned the 90 for intake down a little seems to work
Couple random pics, tied exhaust back in
