track night, meh. couple 10.4s, gapped a few 10 second cars.
fuel filter didnt do much. cleaned up tune, it ran better, it wanted more fuel lol
thought maybe the regulator was on its way out, pulled the diaphragm on the regulator this morning and it looked in great shape, put it back together. i already ordered a new diaphragm last night, prob wont bother changing it.
not sure if the pump is ready for a rebuild or what but it just drops pressure, even before it gets under extreme load (80% duty cycle)

this was pretty typical run, second row white line is the fuel pressure where the marker is its starts off at 73psi and just nose dives down to about 58 psi - which i think is where the stock pump maxes out basically so its able to hold help hold pressure there. but at 58psi the injectors dont flow enough so duty cycle is 110%+ and no beuno im using eq ration, but afrs are like 12.5-13 throughout the run lol on E85 is the only reason its able to make it happen but it should be 11.5afr. lean is mean they say!

Think the fuel line size has something to do with it? Not big enough to support the fuel pressure you need?

not using stock lines... 10an(5/8) line from the tank to the rails

so.... found myself back at the track this evening :yaoface2:

there was some roll racing event going on with IRRA, but heard they were doing some arm drop digs also. usually dont go cause its amateur hour, devolves into retards doing burnouts and donuts in the parking lot. but a bunch of the guys i usually race with were going so i showed up, played with the tune a little today, dropped base fuel pressure back down and turned boost down to where it seemed happy, on the street.

and right off the bat is was a shitshow, no one could tell us what lanes were running what classes. so we just jumped into lanes where everyone else was, which was roll racing - pretty gay but the ol yukon dont give a f. kept the hood close the whole time before instead of popping it and letting it cool down/show off. with the chiller i can pretty much leave it running and intake temps will drop to the 50s, circulating the trans fluid and engine coolant theyll both drop to around 150s.
turns out you were sposed to line up your races so ran against a friends c5 who was behind me, with a cam and a few bolt ons. trapped like 138+ lol to his 117mph pretty much put half a track on him. it was pretty early a few people caught it but there wasnt a whole lot of people there yet.

rolled back around and got into same staging lane cause nothing else going on anyway. sat for a while, then they finally called over the loudspeaker about doing some real drag racing in lanes 8 and 9, luckily i was right up to a spot i could pull out of the lane i was in and go back around and jump into 8/9. same crap you had to have a race lined up, so buddy with a lightly modded 6 speed hellcat and i lined up. we've never raced but known him for a couple years, we dont hide times or anything, joke that he dodges me but he mostly bracket races with it. he usually runs 10.7/.8 low 13X mph, but dude can chop the tree all night long. like multiple .00X lights, with a 6 speed. race was awesome, he just barely red lit -.007... after my nap i ran him down about 800' out. couple i other guys we were with said the place went nuts. ive got a couple vids from the starting line but hoping a couple clean ones from the stands pop up
