bruh..i woke up this morning and was about in the mood to just throw a junkyard motor in it and be done with this shit. the longer i let it sit the more it pisses me off.
all the plugs came out dry, looked fine, cyls are sooty not like they were getting steam cleaned. i dont think much water was making its way into the cylinders it was just blowing out into the coolant system. i did have one plug on cyl #3 that had oil all the way down the threads so im curious to see what thats about when i get that head off
and there was no "seal" between the head/gasket/block... i took all the nuts off the studs and it just came off no prying or anything. may need to re-torque after a couple hundred miles or something

I just figured since it was a part and you had been kicking around the idea...

BUT, I think its perfect the way it is. Get the heads decked a little and get the clamp locked down and you'll be in business.

just packaging mostly, if i gut everything under the hood that can be relocated it may be easier but thats like battery, ecm, fusebox, reroute brake lines, move the pump for steering rack and hydro boost, a2w reservoir, etc etc... its all do-able just not really a level of work i feel like doin

Completely understand. The level of work you did yesterday is a higher level than the work I want to do, period.
