rattle can job

Has anyone done a rattle can job on their truck?
If so.how'd it come out this is my daily.driver and well.to.be.honest don't.want.it to look like a piece.
How many cans did it take? I'm going from gold to black.I'd like to go to.a.satin black
I don't know I'm just looking for some exp I guess possibly some pics

This is a member here ( tahoevandy) who recently did a rustolieum job. Photos are before and waxing.

So wait he sprayed on flat black with a rattle can and then waxed it to even out the paint? Not a chance.

No I'm not sure how all that works out. I thought the rustolieum jobs had something to do with taking the rustolieum paint and thinning it out to extremes and doing coat/wet sand mult. Times. Super labor intensive but inexpensive.

I've seen others do it to0. Some use rollers so it doesn't turn out splotchy
