Real differences between Yukon and Tahoe

Could I get some help from the experts in here....I'm looking to order a Tahoe High Country with Super Cruise. I'm seriously having a hard time trying to figure out the differences.

If you have the time to read this long thread and respond with your knowledge and experience, I'd truly appreciate.

I did a full build with Chevy and GMC.

The Tahoe makes you add the Premium options like adaptive air suspension and pano roof, powered running boards, etc.. separately if you add Super Cruise to the High Country.

The Denali has everything bundled together in a single $12k package.

The Denali is $93k. The Tahoe HC is $90k.

My 1st question. When looking at the build sheets on the website. There's certain things GMC blatantly advertises as premium features...rear windshield wiper fluid dispensers, eLSD rear, intrusion detection system, etc...

The Chevy doesn't show these things as included, but when you read the actual spec sheets, rear washer fluid , eLSD, "tilt" motion alarm system, etc...are included in the Chevy.

I guess what I'm asking is how different is a fully loaded High Country Deluxe with Super Cruise over a Denali Reserve (NOT Ultimate)?

What justifies the $3k in the Denali over the High Country. Reading spec sheets, it appears they are identical except for the rear tail lights on the Chevy are not LED, the GMC's Bose system has 14 speakers vs 10 in the Chevy, and the center infotainment display on the Denali is different.

Both have Summit White paint with no addon. I added black emblems to both. And the Chevy only required $500 to add the black 22's, whereas the GMC required $2000 add on for the black wheels. So $2k of that $3k difference is just in wheels. So there's really a $1k difference.

If I can order either one at MSRP, is the Denali a better value for what your getting for the $1k difference?

After the wheels, its literally just what you mentioned, LED's, and Infotainment. I have been pricing them as well. I was planning on going with the GMC, I think it just looks better.

Edit: Do yourself a favor... If any of the dealers have them in stock, go look at them. I also ditched GM because I hated the interior on both models. Seats are like bricks, and to narrow for a "American".

Yukon has foglights. The tahoe doesn't. Its also the overall look. The chevys look more aerodynamic and sleek while the yukons look more muscular and brawn.

There are also way way more chevys out there then yukon. So if you want to stand out or don't want what everyone else has the GMC is the way to go.

That's crazy. An American brand designed suv built in Texas doesn't have 'american' seats. Lmao.

Both are really nice. I actually like the layout/incline of the Tahoe/Yukon SLT dash better. Yes the Denali may look more “luxurious” but that’s my taste. Tahoe Feels more roomy and practical. To each his own.

Other differences:
Fog lights (meh)
Outside appearance (I like the tahoes front AND rear slightly better)
Supposedly they laminate the front windows of the Denali for a quieter ride (shrug).
Denali Ultimate if you want massage seats (they are nice but not for 100k). I hate the color of the ultimate seats.

In my opinion, the best ability is availability. And there are absolutely no denalis in my area, and the ones that are listed online are either sold in transit, someone’s special order, or selling with an unacceptable markup. I do not want to put miles in my trade in to wait at least 4 months for an order. All the options I want (supercruise, etc) I can get in a Tahoe HC.

Not to mention I have a better chance of getting Friends and family discount with Tahoe.

Tahoe HC it is!

the only difference is which one you like better, unless you are going for a higher trim then the Denali will beat out the Chevy and Escalade will be out the Denali that's just how they roll and why each one has a higher price tag
