No need to wait for a response. There's only one thing that could possibly be brighter than H.I.D.'s. Think about it. I'm seriously considering making the switch here soon. Factory headlight output sucks...

I'm assuming that you are referencing LEDs. The problem with that is "no heat" is completely false. This is why they come with heatsinks and fans

I didn't, If anyone is looking at that 1.5" gap, they are to close to my ride.

But if someone wanted to cover the gap. This will work very well, with alittle cutting and gluing.
That is Kydex, the same material Pistol holsters are made from these days. Its extremely durable and stiff.

Cut sheet in half.
cut the center hole fog light lense wil protrude through. place the half sheet behind fog light hole.
Use a pencil to trace around the fog light hole onto the sheet.
Trim sheet down to 2" from the trace line.
Cut V's into the edges pointing towards the traced line.
Use razor knife to score a line across from each V point to its neigbor V point. Do not go inside the Trace line.
Use a lighter to warm the kydex on opposite side of score line.
Fold kydex back to a 90*
let cool.
Do this all the way around
Clean rear of valance around fog light hole with soap and water then 91% isoproply alcohol.
Scuff the edges arounf the fog light hole with 90gritt paper as well as the iside of the Kydex "figers" you made.
Apply JBweld to both scruffed surfaces.
Slide kydex onto valance.
Let hardned over night.
Bolt in fog light.

No more gap..

Burnt sockets? They make ceramic ones for a reason. He just used a cheap relay kit I'd imagine.

Okay here is the recipe. You buy these 4000 lumen led lights in 9005 size.

Pop off the tabs on your factory housings leaving a flat surface. Insert bulb.
Line it up.
Then glue in with a plastic epoxy.
Let dry.
Plug in and be amazed.
No heat issues anymore.
Mount small ballast.
Fit with no problem.
Above are pics of when they were inserted and drying.

I run these leds in my upper and lower lights with smoked lenses and I am still brighter than hid. How do I know?

I have been installing hids for 10 plus years. When a kit would cost you $750.

261727982742 is the ebay item number for the kit.

It will ship from newyork. They are a reputable distributor.
You can find similar from china. I can't speak of the quality. I know for a fact these last and the seller is trustworthy.

Or just PayPal me 200 and I'll send you a set pre made. In a oem housing.

Hids will melt. I have three sets right now on a shelf or all different color hids I was running before I decided to go led.

I'm assuming your talking about hids in the stock reflector right? If that's the case then the led may be plausible. But if your talking brighter than hids period, no way. Come see my projector setup and then we can talk.

The problem is the light still isn't distributed properly. It's just a bright bulb in a reflector.
The trs led setup will definitely have better light distribution. As will a hid projector.

With your led setup, how do you change the bulb if it's epoxied in place?
