I've got a couple of questions. I have 99 four door Tahoe.

Question one is about the rear air. With the temperature all the way up, when I turn on the rear fan it blows cold air. Up front blows hot just fine. Is that just for cold AC or should that be blowing hot air as well?

Question two concerns the wipers. Yesterday when I turned the switch to the off position, they kept going. I'm pretty good with a meter but I have no idea where to start with this. Any suggestions or known issues I should check out? Thanks for any help on either problem!

I'm pretty sure the rear is only A/C. Someone correct me if wrong.

The wiper issue is most likely the pulse module board. Common problem in the trucks, but a quick and easy fix.

I was able to get a hold of an owners manual and you are correct. Although rear heat was an option, mine is AC only. There are heat vents on the floor however.

The wipers have not had that issue since that particular drive. But just in case, where is the pulse module board located? I'm thinking that I need to invest in a Chilton's manual!

unknown at this time.
That manual covered the tahoes and suburbans. The surburbans were big enough to accomodate a combo heater / A/C package in the back hence the option in the manual. The tahoe was to small in the back corners to accomadate the whole thing.
