I bought the 2000 Yukon XL with an aftermarket stereo installed. All worked well until the rear audio control was damaged and removed. Now the rear speakers do not work. Does anyone have an idea how to by pass it. How can I get the rear speakers working again.

Bump. I am leaving Friday morning for speed week, Bonneville salt flats and need some tunes.

Shot in the dark, but have you disconnected the battery?

You could always just run a new set of wires to each speaker...

Connect directly to your aftermarket deck's harness for RL and RR speakers, run wires from the deck into the rear doors. If you have aftermarket speakers, connect directly to them. If not, splice into the factory wiring in the door.

Thanks Naomi for the reply. After much diligence I have it figured out. All is by passed and working as it did before.
