Had one out of a gmt900 sitting in the yard for a bit. All the mounts and brakes looked the same. Bought it without a yoke, guy said he had to change the yoke cause it was different. RockAuto lists them as the same universal joint so I'm not sure on that.

3.73 more common in Z71 but available outside of that package. I've had a couple non-Z71s with 3.73s.

Replacement axle ready to rock! After all the shopping and learning, I scored a complete unit from Facebook marketplace for $100. Alteady home stripped down ready to go. Shiny due to rust converter. Diamond is the rough even had brand new brakes. Let the fun begin.
