I am changing my rear axle seal on my hoe. I need to know is our axles held in with a c-clip? Some pics would be cool. I have done this before but not on my hoe. I do have a book but my dam brother let one of his buddies use it and hasn't given it back. Foot in his ass in the morning for that one. I need to get this tonight I got a interview in the morning. Thanks for the help.

Yes the Chevy 8.5 10 bolts is a C-Clip axle housing from the factory. You will need to pull the pin, remove the clips, pull the axels (I would put the pin back in after the axles have been removed to prevent those spider gears from falling in), pull the seals, drive in the new ones, reassemble.

Thanks I got it last night. Looking at the locker in it kind of freaked me out a little. Not use to seeing that type of locker. Im used to auto lockers and arb lockers.

Sorry admin for putting in wrong place. Thanks for the move ;)
