Rear barndoor defrosters

does any one know of a rear door defrost kit to install.all the windows clear pretty easily with the defrost on but the back seems like forever .we have had a snap of bad weather little snow but just alot of ice .

Sometimes the contacts on the rear defrosters get corroded ( you will see them when you open up your rear doors). Lightly sand them with really fine sand paper and it will help them to make better contact and deliver all the energy they can to work the defrosters. But I will say also that my rear defrosters are still kinda slow. Good luck with it.

I got the barn doors on mine and the rear defrosters never worked from day 1. Didn't really bother me though since I lived in a warm climate.

You may want to check out www.lmctruck.com

This is the only place I've seen that carries every nut and bolt for these things. You could literally build a Hoe from the ground up through there catalog. Might be able to find the components to install it.

The barn doors seem to be pretty rare these days. I've seen like 3 other ones in my life.
