Rear bowtie?

Im on the process of debaging my truck...i already try to google it and no resuts..maybe cause im on the phone...can anyone tell me if the rear bowtie of the tahoe has screws holes or just glue?...cause i want to take it off

It has two holes behind it for alignment and the emblem has two little pins that fit in the holes. You can get the piece off a Yukon that doesn't have the holes if you really wanted to.

How is it called the rear part? So i can look for it on ebay...or if anyone has ab extra one to sell pm me..thanks..

The shape of the GMC is slightly different than the Chevy also. If you have one that needs to be painted anyway, just have the body shop fill and smooth out the stock appliqué before its painted. They shouldn't charge much.

How do i take it off ?..the piece has screws or tabs?

There are two clips on the outer, but 4 nuts need to be removed behind the trim panel. They are HEAVY on locktite, so heat them up a little bit (even using a lighter will work) otherwise you will break the bolt from the applique and have to glue it back in.
