View attachment 260609 View attachment 260610 on the 15 up yukons there is a small textured black lower trim piece, lines up nicely with step boards and front valance.

i prefer the look of it, but the burbs do not have it. i noticed when following a lifted yukon, gives a slightly higher appearance, and a little protection to the rear lower edge.

To me it looks like the Suburban's is part of the bumper cover, but color matched.

thanks for the pics...as i thought, the rear bumper cover itself does differ...i could probably slot mine for the attachment, and may try since a new cover would be needed anyway.

i may also try a bedliner material and mimic the look at the lower body line on the suburban cover.

The return lip that turns in/under the existing bumper cover has little tabs on it but the extension is slotted with tabs that line up to bumper. The extension can still be set into the return lip and then underneath a few well placed holes and tywraps and you’ll never see them. At least I think so...

maybe if possible, give me a measurement of the bumper width (top to trim edge), it appears to me that the burb cover has the area molded in where as the yukon cover would have the trim as an add on...i would rather not place under my cover thus lowering the appearance. i just happen to like the appearance of the trim and how it gives the appearance of a higher vehicle from a distance, not to mention a slight paint edge protection.
