has anyone hear gotten rear bumpers from lmc? have front from them and it isnt the best quality fitment and a few other defects. my rear bumper is poo. bent like 10 diff places want to find a rear one locally or get a paintable one. also my fronts starting to show some rust almost it looks like on the top
I've never thought LMC had very good quality products. If you're looking for a OEM bumper, I'd just either look at Craiglist, or a pick and pull yard.
Otherwise, I really like some of the aftermarket bumpers available. Otherwise, if your fabrication skills are good, or know someone who can fabricate for you, maybe build your own bumpers?
Try your local junk yard. I too need a rear bumper for my 99 kon and will be searching various auto shops and junk yards here for one. But what I really want is an OB esky or denali rear bumper, that's if I can find one here.
I recently replaced the bumpers on my '96 Tahoe by buying a '97 suburban and taking the bumpers off. One thing I did was to treat the light rust on the inside with Extend and black paint before reinstalling.
