Morning all from sunny Muscat, Oman. After months of trying to find a cheap and functional solution to tie downs I found a thread here about removing the rear seat and installing a plywood sheet. Thanks to @Sparksalot

Just wanted to share with all you helpful folks.
Material:
1x Malaysian Marine Ply chipped 25usd cut to measure 20usd (with 5usd tip)
4 SS M10 1.5x 50mm bolt and washer
4 SS Thread nuts 2usd
Upholstery carpet 22usd (not water marine carpet though as couldn’t find it)
Loctite was the most expensive 25usd
Seat removal you need a 15mm socket and 13mm socket.

On Order 1/4 inch D-ring anchor floor tie downs 22usd from Amazon

Very easy took 3 hours with shopping around (hardware isn’t easily available here but material and labour is very low)

Looking forward to receiving the Tie Downs so we can tie down and hit the sand dunes soon:
- Dometic cfx45
- LifePo4 battery
- invertor
- Camping gear

If t wasn’t for this forum would never have figured it and saved a lot of time as the tradesmen here don’t follow quality standards.

Very clean look. The new carpet is great too better than existing old carpet!

This is for 2015-2020 Tahoe LTZ

Thanks so much.
