Rear Corner Vents

I havent had a problem with the as of yet but I crack my rear windows about a half inch all the time so......... I don't know if Max has any issues with his..

Do these vent at all? Because the factory tahoe/escalade/yukon ones are actually used as functional vents.

They vent out of the bottom. Even the Escalade/Tahoe/Yukon ones are open on the bottom...

You'll see when you take your originals off, they aren't exactly sealed to the body like a door would seal when you close it. They should have no problem venting.

I heard somewhere else here on the forum that somebody sealed off the vents with dynamat (or somethin or another) when they took the caps off so as to make their subs louder which makes perfect sense but would that cause any problems anyways?

No issues with mine. They rattle a bit with the stereo way up but alot of things do.

I sealed mine off in my old Tahoe. No problems with them.

great post, I have been looking everywhere for how to do this. If I want too paint them what kind of paint should I use so it doesn't look cheap and can I buy the same exact ones brand new. I like the solid look but I think I will stick with the factory look myself.
