I have a 2003 Yukon and slowly but surely the rear doors and hatch have stopped unlocking, all at the same time. I can't tell if the hatch locks but the doors for sure lock when I hit the button, and when the truck is put in gear. None of them unlock with the fob or by using the unlock buttons in the cab. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Had the hatch stop unlocking on me after replacing the handle.

Check this video out on how to unlock it from the inside, so that you can open it, remove the trim and diagnose the problem. Check that the handle cable is attached still and hasn't snapped. Also the motor could be toast, which would prevent the fob from unlocking them.

Further, make sure the trim hasn't been pushed in so far that it is pinching the handle and lock. This happened on mine. The motor was good, but when I pushed the trim pieces in, it was too tight and neither the handle or hatch would open.

Funny, I actually caught that exact video already to figure out how to open the damn thing! I'm more concerned about the back doors, it's driving me crazy not being able to unlock them.

And the problem was progressive, not sudden...for a while I would hit unlock like 2 or 3 times and then it would unlock, finally just stopped working altogether.

Just another thought...is it possible your key fob is dying? Maybe try the second set.

I would change the battery and like Fosscore said try your other remote and then check for broken wires in the door jamb. :2cents:

Yeah it's got new batteries...I see there's an unlock fuse but it's good. I'll check for broken wires, if that's not it then I might just shove it into the bottom of my lake!
