I have a 2004 Tahoe with a lot of work I put into it, that was unfortunately totaled recently. I’m looking at a 2011 ltz and I plan on stripping all the usable performance parts from my old car to the new car. The 2011 comes with 3.42 gears and I want to know if my 3.73 rear end will swap right in or if I should do just the gears. Does anyone know what might be different about the rear end? Tia!

I believe the ring and pinion gears are the same. But the entire rear end
won't just 'swap' over
