I got this truck off a ranch, the inside was as bad as the rear. I tore it open because of all the other work I needed to do around it, as well as to change the gears. As for noise.....I cant hear crap over those tires.

Based on how nasty your rear diff looks I would change the fluids in the front diff, tranny and xfer case as well and double check all the ujoints. That rig has seen some serious water at some point.

All fluids changed, ujoints changed, front diff being removed completly for future SAS. New LS7 being built for boost to go in next summer as well.

This truck was sitting in water for the rear to look like that.
