Still in honeymoon with our 3 day old Denali ...

Tested the DVD system this morning with my kids and while the movies play just fine (even off my external hard drive in .mp4 format), the supplied wireless headphones don't work. I tried different DVDs (these work just fine on my X5) and same results.

On the stock headphones, there's button for power/vol/channel (A/B). I tried both headphones and channels. I can hear some static, however, which means the headphones do work (along with the red LED indicating power).

What am I missing (or doing wrong)? If it's just IR, the vehicle should just pick up it and pair right? Or do I have perform some sorta pairing first? There's nothing in the user manuaal stating this...

Anybody has the Rear e/t system and ran into this issue?

Thanks!

UPDATE: Dealer sent us replacement headphones today and they worked out of the box!!

I did compare the original/new sets and found the models are slightly different. Original had the "channel" selector toggle button. The replacement (working) ones just has a button instead. On the latter, it also says "Digital Audio" on the side of the headphones so it seems there are varying models of these at GM.
