Rear gear and carrier question

I have a 97 Yukon 4x4 that one of the ring gear carrier bearings decided to let go and I need to rebuild it, she has 190k miles. It came with 3.73 gears and has 33 in tires. My mileage is about 12 mpg average. Would swapping to 4.11's help my mileage? I do a little towing, but very little off roading. Thoughts on USA gears?

Also, what type of carrier is this. I've never seen a posi like that. Any tips on swapping the front gears or a website that has good info?
