What does the higher spring rate do compared to a lower spring rate in the non-xl version?

I also went with the Belltech rear leveling springs. Got em' from Tony, they ride great. Got a pic or two in my album.

I will try to get some pics on here. Goodinblack do you have helper bags installed?

Yes, sure do.

That is the problem with lowering these trucks. The Belltechs ride great unloaded, but you lose hauling capacity unless you have bags or AutoRide. 5 people and luggage starts to rub un the back, and 7 people plus luggage is impossible to bear without bags. I never tow, only haul people around.

Seems to me the Belltechs are too soft when it comes to taking load without bags. That is why Modded said he likes Pedders, however I did NOT want a 2/3 only a 2/2 drop.

Well after this weekend I'm not sure I'm gonna level the rear. I was hauling 6 kids to my sons birthday party and noticed that on the passenger side rear when going around a corner that it was rubbing the fender well on the inside. Not sure if this is common or not but it kinda makes me scared to level it, especially since I will be hauling a 3000 pound camper with gear. Should I leave the rear stock height and Maybe get helper bags?

Leaving the stock springs in it AND getting helper bags would raise it even more. I thought you wanted to lower. All I am saying is if you lower it then get bags at the SAME time.
