Can't make it any worse. If it's so sensitive that it can't withstand lightly rubbing your fingernail over it, then it has no business being under the rear of a vehicle.

Yeah this is strange. I looked at it over the weekend and the lens is a clear rubberized material. Which should deflect debris fairly well. To me, the internal GMC template is breaking down, which then allows for light to shine through. Polluting the image on the ground. The light module seems sealed and I don't know how its happening.

Mine looks good still but ive only had it 2 weeks. Ill keep an eye out. Its a very cool feature because honestly i could never find the right spot on my ‘16 tahoe.

Yukon was in service yesterday for this and other issues. They are ordering a new light assembly and should arrive in 5 days.

My replacement ground light has arrived at dealer.

Also, I'm wondering if drive thru car washes have an effect on them? Shouldn't, but who knows.

After a carwash. Now I believe water damages projector/sensor. Tried to clean with a cotton swab as suggested in the owners manual. No luck. Back to the dealer once again. Smh ‍ (6700 miles)

Same issue here. New AT4 with 2,500 miles on it. GMC Logo for rear hatch looks terrible. two weeks ago it looked perfect shining on the ground. I hope the mirror lights don't do the same thing. I also had water in the channel around the sunroof -when I opened my sunroof the other day. the Screen that pops up for wind was wet and water flew everywhere inside. Anyone had a problem link that?
